RVW invites you to join us at the 2023 Na­tional Convention in Salem, Oregon, September 16^th through September 23^rd. Come prepared for fun times, learning opportu­nities, tours, entertainment events, some fun-fundraisers and even more. The Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center will be the convention site. Early-bird member pricing for convention is $175, with camping $120 for entire stay. Convention officially begins with the opening ceremony Tuesday, September 19, but there are lots of pre-convention activi­ties for those who come early. They include tours, maintenance classes, a golf scramble and Tuesday’s First Timers gathering. The campground will open for arrivals at noon on Saturday, September 16. You cannot arrive prior to this day and time. Camping will be $120 for your entire stay, which includes 30 amp electricity. You should plan on leaving on Sunday, Septem­ber 24. If you stay Sunday night, you MUST leave by 9 a.m. Monday, September 25 Pre-convention options There is so much to see and do in this area, both near Salem and on your way through beautiful Oregon. We will offer even more info on area activities in the next issue of the magazine.

RVW has arranged four tours. On Sunday, Septem­ber 17, they will offer a tour of the Oregon coast and another of Silver Creek Falls and Oregon’s covered bridges. On Monday, September 18, there will be a tour of an aviation and space museum and also a wine tour. Our popular maintenance classes will be held Monday and Tuesday, September 18 and 19. We are also adding a two-hour classroom driving class on Sunday after­noon, September 17.  The RVW Golf Scramble will be Monday, Septem­ber 18 and includes a lunch wrap. Tuesday afternoon, all first-time convention at­tendees will be welcomed to our First Timer’s Recep­tion. If this will be your first time at a convention, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn about convention activities and meet with chapter leaders and RVW Board members.

RVing Women is a national organization that provides women RVers with a supportive network, education, and the opportunity to enjoy the RVing lifestyle in a safe and knowledgeable manner.

Both RVW members and non-members are invited to attend the national convention, which offers maintenance classes, a driving class, area tours, interesting and educational seminars, entertainment, and lots of fun and connecting with other women RVers from around the country.
